About Our Organization

Welcome to the Portage County Republican Women’s Club! Our mission is rooted in a deep commitment to Conservative values, service to our community, and supporting strong Republican candidates who uphold the principles that make America great.

A Proud Legacy
The Portage County Republican Women’s Club has built an honorable reputation for over 40 years of advocating on behalf of Conservative values. Through a collective effort of dedicated women, we have made significant strides in supporting Republican candidates, promoting Conservative policies, and encouraging civic engagement at every level. Our club has been instrumental in the election of Republican candidates across Portage County. We believe that electing principled leaders is the foundation of a stronger, more prosperous community, and we take immense pride in fostering and mentoring first-time candidates—offering them guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support.

Service to Our Community
In addition to our advocacy efforts, we are also deeply committed to giving back to our community. Over the years, the Portage County Republican Women’s Club has spearheaded several impactful service projects, demonstrating our belief in the power of community and compassion. Some of our past projects include:

  • Collecting backpacks for disadvantaged high school aged children, ensuring that every child has the tools they need to succeed in school.
  • Volunteering at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, serving meals to those in need and working to combat hunger in our community.
  • Organizing drives to collect supplies for veterans and elderly residents in local nursing homes, showing our appreciation for those who have served and those in our community who may need extra care.

These projects are a reflection of our commitment not only to Republican values but to the values of kindness, service, and patriotism that help build a better, stronger community.

A Supportive Network for Conservative Women
The Portage County Republican Women’s Club is a close-knit family of wise, passionate Conservative women who share a common goal: to uphold the ideals of liberty, patriotism, and freedom. Whether you are a political novice or a knowledgeable Conservative activist, we are here to offer you guidance, support, and mentorship. Our club members take great pride in empowering one another, lifting up new voices, and making sure that no Conservative woman ever feels alone in her journey. Whether you're running for office or simply looking for a place to connect, the Portage County Republican Women’s Club is your home base for inspiration, collaboration, and action.

In 1995, she built a home on her childhood farm and is forever grateful to be living back in the county.

She joined the club in 2021 after learning about it at a Frank LaRose event. She later went to her first  meeting and immediately became interested in getting more involved.

Kathy loves the service aspect of the club and works hard to find and promote different volunteering opportunities for the women to get involved with.

Kathy loves volunteering and being connected with a great group of women as part of the club. Her favorite part of the club is learning more about Portage County. She has also met a lot of great people in the club who have become good friends.

Kathy appreciate the opportunity to serve as Secretary and be a part of a club where she can connect with folks who have old fashioned conservative values, don't defy the constitution and are genuine, true patriots.
